The Hong Kong Museum of Art is one of the museums managed by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department. Established in 1962, it was first housed in the City Hall, moving to its present purpose-built premises by the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in 1991. The museum also has a branch, the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, located in Hong Kong Park.
It is the mission of the Hong Kong Museum of Art to preserve the cultural heritage of China and promote art with a local focus. Its collections now number in excess of 12,800 art objects, including Chinese paintings and calligraphy works, antique Chinese treasures, paintings of historical significance as well as creations by local artists. The highlights of the collections are on display in the exhibition galleries. To maintain an essential international character, the museum also presents a great variety of thematic exhibitions drawn from local and overseas sources.

The Hong Kong Science Museum was opened on 18 April 1991. It offers a fascinating opportunity for you to discover the mystery of science.
The four storey high museum occupies a site of 12 000 square metres while its exhibition halls cover a total floor area of 6 500 square metres.
There are about 500 exhibits, 70% of which are hands-on exhibits.

The construction of the Hong Kong Space Museum commenced in 1977. It is strategically located at the centre of Tsim Sha Tsui - the defunct terminus of the Kowloon-Canton Railway. Commissioned in October 1980, it was the first local planetarium for the popularization of astronomy and space science. The unique egg-shaped dome rendered the 8000-square-metre museum to be one of the most famous landmarks in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Space Museum comprises of two wings - east and west. The former, the planetarium's nucleus, has an egg-shaped dome structure. Beneath it are the Space Theatre, the Hall of Space Science, workshops and offices. The west wing houses the Hall of Astronomy, the Lecture Hall, the Gift Shop and offices.

In 1981, the first Pizza Hut store in Hong Kong was opened in the Tsim Sha Tsui Centre. In 1987, Jardine Matheson & Co., Ltd. took over the franchise and thereafter the business continues to grow. To date, the number of outlets has expanded over 60 (including two in Macau). In addition to the traditional dine-in and take-away business, Pizza Hut has developed its delivery service over the past eight years and the service now covers over 95% of the inhabited areas in Hong Kong.
